Money and sex need to be surrendered to Christ in order for a person to be a disciple of Christ. Believe it or not, Mark Gungor says that there are men who would rather masturbate than have sex with their wives. He says that it is because these men have gotten so used to satisfying themselves that they do not have a normal appreciation for their wives or for the sex that God planned for each person to appreciate.
Mark also reminded us that we can only serve one god either Yahweh or mammon (money). So many people have the wrong idea of money. They do not realize or fully accept that we own nothing as our Heavenly Father owns it all. We need to trust God when we give rather than giving the people who we support the third degree.
